Auto Reconditioning for Lease Returns, Trade-Ins and Resale
Every cosmetic issue addressed in one stop, priced against what it actually returns.
Fix what pays you back. Skip what does not.
Spend money only where it comes back.
Reconditioning is the work that happens right before a vehicle changes hands. Lease return, trade-in appraisal, private sale, or a dealer putting a truck on the front line. The goal is not perfection at any cost, it is spending money only where it comes back to you. We walk the vehicle, sort the cosmetic issues by what an inspector or a buyer will actually flag, and quote it that way.
A typical truck recon pass
- Door dings and body dents removed, usually paintless.
- Scuffed bumpers, rocker panels and running boards repaired and refinished.
- Bed rail and tailgate damage sorted out, since that is the first place a buyer looks.
- Faded, hazed or peeling clear coat corrected where it is worth correcting.
- Glass chips filled and window tint replaced or added.
Why owners bring us trucks before a trade
- Appraisers deduct in round numbers for visible damage, often several times the repair cost.
- Lease inspectors work from a wear and tear standard, and we know where that line sits.
- One stop instead of a dent shop, a glass shop, a tint shop and a detailer.
- You get a straight recommendation on what to skip, not a padded estimate.

What is included in reconditioning for a lease return?
Reconditioning covers the cosmetic items a lease inspector charges for: dents and dings, scuffed bumpers, scratched panels, glass chips and worn tint. We walk the vehicle against the wear and tear standard and quote only the items that would otherwise become a lease-end charge.
Is reconditioning worth it before trading in a truck?
Usually. Trucks hold value well, which means visible cosmetic damage stands out more against an otherwise strong number. Appraiser deductions are often several times what the repair costs. We will tell you when a repair does not pay for itself.
Do you recondition vehicles for dealerships?
Yes. A large share of our work is front-line recon for dealers, which is where the name comes from. We are set up for volume and for the turnaround times a sales floor runs on.
