We reach the back of the panel and work the metal out with specialized tools until the surface reads flat under a light board. When is paintless dent removal a better option than traditional bodywork?

Paintless dent removal works when the paint is not cracked and the dent is accessible from behind the panel. It preserves your factory finish, costs less, and finishes faster than repainting. It also protects resale value by avoiding the paint mismatch that buyers notice during an inspection.

Can you fix a dent in a tailgate or a bed side?

Usually yes. A tailgate is double walled, so access takes more work than a door, and a bedside can be tight behind the wheel arch, but both are routine for us. Where a panel truly cannot be reached from behind, we say so up front and quote conventional repair instead.

Will I be able to see where the dent was?

On a properly executed PDR repair, no. We work under a reflective light board that exaggerates any high or low spot, so the panel is judged on reflection rather than on how it looks in shop light.

How long does paintless dent removal take?

A single door ding is often done the same day, sometimes within the hour. Multiple panels or hail across a hood, roof and bed take longer, and we give you a realistic window when we look at the vehicle.
